Water Quality Monitoring

The benefits of monitoring water quality are quite obvious:  water quality is one of the best indicators of the health of a system.  A healthy watershed has to have good quality water.

By creating a testing regime that is repeated year after year, a Conservation District can determine if their programming has had the appropriate impact on the watershed.  Districts often use water quality results for public education and as a tool for integrated watershed management.

If you would like to see projects like this preformed in your community, please contact LSRBCD.

For failed test results either contact our office for our
